Whats new for 05. Honda's changes for 2005 model year.

    Some interesting information from Honda Canada.

    2005 Civic Coupe models:
    - SE continues on and adds keyless entry & console armrest
    - New REVERB model introduced that offers skirt kit, 15" alloy wheels,
    premium 6CD Audio, rear spoiler, and is exclusively available in
    Taffeta White (a rarity for Canada)
    - Magnesium Metallic available in all trims except the REVERB

    2005 Civic Sedan models:
    - DX-G trim level dropped
    - SE continues on and adds keyless entry & console armrest
    - LX-G model now comes with sunroof and alloy wheels
    - Tango Red new colour all trims
    - Fiji Blue Pearl available for Si Sedan model only

    2005 Civic Sedan Hybrid:
    - now available in Eternal Blue Pearl

    2005 Accord 4 Cylinder Sedan models:
    - DX model adds Side SRS and Side Curtain SRS
    - all models add Side Curtain SRS
    - all models add new solid red taillight design

    2005 Accord V6 Sedan models:
    - all models add Side Curtain SRS
    - all models add new solid red taillight design

    2005 Accord 4 Cylinder/V6 Coupe models:
    - all models add Side Curtain SRS
    - Graphite Pearl available in V6 MT model

    2005 Accord Hybrid:
    - available in Nighthawk Black Pearl, Satin Silver Metallic and Silver
    Frost Metallic

    2005 CR-V Models:
    - Redesigned front and rear
    - New 5-Speed Automatic transmission
    - Vehicle Stability Assist, Side SRS & Side Curtain SRS on all trims
    - Keyless entry added on LX model
    - 16" steel wheels on LX, 16" alloy wheels on all other trims
    - now available in Redondo Red Pearl, Cosmic Grey Pearl, and Opal
    Beige Metallic (Chianti Red & Mojave Mist discontinued)

    2005 Odyssey (details conveniently left out)
    New colours: Desert Rock Metallic, Silver Pearl Metallic & Ocean Mist
    Metallic

    2005 Pilot:
    - New engine: 250hp, 245ft lb torque
    - LX trim level introduced to Canada with side roof rails, keyless
    entry and alloy wheels
    - Tire Pressure Monitoring System added on all trims
    - EX model adds 6 Disc CD Changer
    - EX-L model adds Sunroof, 6 Disc CD Changer and Vehicle Stability
    Assist
    - New Colours: Billet Silver Metallic, Steel Blue Metallic, Desert
    Rock Metallic and Slate Grey Pearl

    2005 Element:
    - wheel covers on base Element
    - new black cladding on Y-Package (certain exterior colours only)
    - Side SRS on Y-Package only
    - new colours: Magnesium Metallic, Cargo Khaki and Rallye Red

    2005 S2000
    - Silverstone Metallic returns to the Canadian market

    2005 Insight:
    - new Black/Titanium Fabric interior upholstery

  3. We do, but it's called the Si-R. The Canadian Si sedan and coupe are
    similar to the American EX models.

    Yes, we do, it's called the Si-R. Since it wasn't on the 05 list, I
    can only guess that it will be discontinued, or unchanged. It really
    isn't selling well in our market.

    Why would someone buy an Si-R when they could buy an Acura RSX and get
    another 9 ft-lbs of torque (132 vs 141) in addition to all the luxury
    features for just a couple grand more?

  8. A cost cutting downgrade? Or do they figure that since hardly
    anyone in North America uses turn signals, the yellow turn signals
    used in older models aren't of any use?

    I think you meant "hardly anyone in the US" uses turn signals-as several
    trips to Montreal have shown me that most 'nucks are quite competant
    drivers.
