What type synthetic automatic transmission oil can be used in the CRV? I

Honda Automatics are designed to use Honda Dexron type 2 fluid. Honda
fluid is the best for Honda Automatics and with the cost of repairs to
them that's what I would use.

Would you like to share why you don't want to use honda fluids? Why did you
buy a honda if it comes with honda fluids and parts???????
The best think you can do is use oem fluids, they cost the same

  4. You may not want to use Honda oil but if your vehicle is under warranty
and you screw up the transmission with the wrong kind of oil--Honda will
use this as an escuse to NOT repair it for free. If you want to take a
chance--use any transmission oil that your mechanic advises you to use. If
you want to be sure that you will have no problems with your
    transmission--use Honda transmission fluid.
