If the exhaust pipe outlet is black and oily is this an indication of
valve seals or some oil getting into the engine ? What could it be ?
My car has 75K miles on it but that exhuast tip is driving me nuts.
What symptoms or signs would my Acura Integra eb showing to reflect
this at all. Thanks for any insight anyone maybe able to provide on
    this.

  6. Compare with other cars. All the cars with modern emission controls have a
sooty tailpipe - if your last trip was short, it'll also be wet. The old
mechanics' quick diagnostic tricks, like reading spark plugs just don't
    apply any more.
