subs cutting out

    okay i've got 2 kenwood 600w subs they are being powered by a sony xplod 2/1
    channel amp im running 16 gauge wire on my subs for some reason my subs cut
    in and out i checked my amp isn't going into protect mode or shutting off
    wats the problem
