That's common. My car has starting problme but it does start all the
    time.
Main relay problem.etc. it does start all the time. just be patient
    for me.

You have an information problem, not a starter problem. Tell us the
make, model , year, location, and mileage of the vehicle. We don't live
    at your house.

Have you tried starting it in NEUTRAL, rather than PARK. Do the
headlights come on bright, even when you try to start it? Have you had
the ignition switch replaced during the great RECALL? Does it start if
you boost it with another car? Did you try snugging up the battery
terminals? Does the motor spin at all? Have you tried push-starting it?

when my car 89 civic automatic does not start, turn the key I hear
nothing. Total silence. Then I have to wait. 5 min or 10 min or
sometimes 30 mins. Then I turn
the key again, I hear something like click. I know it's going to work.
    I try again.
next I hear the starter is turning bit hesitate but start again. I
    notice that mostly
when the car is hot, it does not start right away once I turn off the
    car.

You need to resolder or replace your famous MAIN RELAY. (do a google or
    groups search)

If you don't want to wait up to 30 minutes, leave the ignition switch in
position II, and smack the dash with your fist. You'll hear the fuel
pump run, and you can start the car. The vibration of the engine will
keep the relay engaged until next time you shut it off. MARVELOUS
    anti-theft device :)

I did all the main relay problem fixed. I think the problem is in
ignition switch or Neutral Safety Switch.
I noticed the NSS is hot when it not start. The heat of hot NSS could
came from the heat of hot tranny.
