Hello, I have a 2014Honda CRV that appears to have a dead starter after it was just replaced two weeks ago. Headlights work. Won’t turn over. Is it a connection with the starter? Faulty installation?
I had problems with the starter about two weeks ago (after they replaced an alternator). Also had problems with key in ignition but that fixed. New battery.
My car starter died when I was out of town in a rural area. I was able to get a mechanic who replaced it with a new after-market starter. I was with him when we bought the part. It was working fine for almost two weeks. Then yesterday it didn’t start again. I was in a public parking lot. I tried jumping my car. Headlights went on. Key in ignition activated signals but nothing. It didn’t click or turn over. I called the mechanic. He told me he would meet me at my car early afternoon but no show. Suggestions?
