What is the best way to check for spark on these new cars? Way back
before solid state, we would just pull one of the plug wires and put a
spark plug in the end of it and ground the plug and crank the engine. Is
there a better way using a piece of test equipment? bob

You can use an ignition scope if you have one,or one of those spark
testers.(neon?)

If it uses spark plug wires, then that's still a valid test. Just be you don't
crank it without the plug being grounded.

various compaies make spark testers...........

dont' srcrew around with this............ some of these cars put
some very serious voltage......
