"Sounds like a bad ground"

    Can't remember who it was that suggested that the problem I was having
    with my '89 SE-i might just be a bad ground. They were right. The
    starter was turning over slowly, then faster then not at all. Guy at
    Auto Zone said it was a bad starter. Problem was still there after I
    replaced the starter with a rebuilt one.
    I finally had the time to look at all the engine wire harness
    connections and grounds. The one that fixed it was the negative battery
    cable where it attaches to the engine.
