Yeah, the S2000 is a wonderful car. Many enthusiast automotive journalist know that Honda rocks. The Q45 on the other hand, is like a big fat guy with huge muscles. He's not all that agile and his weight keeps him from utilizing all that strength, but he sure has a lot of power. The DOHC 4.5 liter engine shows there's no replacement for displacement. With the- now long gone -gentleman's agreement in Japan among the auto makers to limit horsepower ratings, the Q45 had more like 300 hp. It had valve timing (albeit on one side) starting in 1990! This makes it pass like a demon at speeds above 60 mph. If you ever driven one, you know when you gun it on the highway it's like a time warp. The other cars are gone in a flash. Certain engine makers just know how to more power from the same dispalcement. Without a turbo(s), what 2 or 2.2 liter car is fast as the S2000? Also, the 4.6 liter truck I have, weighs about the same as my Q45, but it feels like a slug at highway speeds. Long live the S2000 and Q45!
