    Hi all,

I have a 2002 Accord (4dr) and am looking for a rack to carry a canoe (eh).

Wondering what experiences anyone has had with racks from:
    A) Dealer
    B) Thule
    C) Mountain Equipment Co-Op, or some such outdoor outfitter...
    D) Any other options that fit and don't damage the car!

    Thanks!

I've used Thule to carry windsurfing gear/bikes on my 84, 90 and 99
Preludes. Everything fit fine and the only item required to tailor fit each
car were the "feet". Since its a two door, and I have to use the short
roofline adapter, the racks stay on from April 1 til about Nov 1 each year.
The slightly raised border around the perimeter of the rubber pads under the
feet have left a thin edged rectangular imprint in the paint. I use a
cleaner wax prior to and after removal of the racks at those places and
generally only see the marks when the light is just right.

Since the Accord is so popular, I'm sure Thule got it right for that car
too. Thule used to have a canoe "cradle" accessory for their bars. Not
sure if they still do, since all I use are foam pads for the board and their
    upright stand for the bike.
