Ok i got a 94 civic ex coupe . when i bout it it had a alarm on it but dude didnt have remote. so there were many issues with this and it had to go. i removed the alarm and hooked all the wires up. i belive there was a relay in the mix of alarm stuff that needs to still be on the car . i think it goes on the big black and white wired that comes out of the brown connector ... my cars still starts if you cross connection on starter... but if i use ignition it kills everything in car but does not spin starter. any ideas?

Try replacing the ignition relay and see if it will solve the problem.
