Recommend CRV Tires = Michelin Hydra-Edge

Discussion in 'CR-V' started by Peter Donlevy, Dec 8, 2003.

  1. Just replaced the original bridgestone duellers on my 2000 CRV (they hit
the wear bar with only 56K Km on them, disappointing but thta's another
    story).

I havebeen reading many posts recommending quieter tires and was
considering yokohama avid touring, when my independant mechanic
    recommended the michelins.

After installation, I had to drive back to his garage the next day and
Thank Him for the recommendation. The tires are much quieter, turning is
effortless and they are 'sticky' even in colder weather.

The tires are directional (lefts and rights) and have huge v-grooves
which act as reservoirs for water/snow buildup to reduce hydroplaning.

It's like I'm driving another vehicle (not an SUV).

Pricier than others ($150 Cdn) but I can't say enough about them !
