I have a 2002 Odyssey that rattles more than my ancient Caravan. The power
sliding doors are the worst problem. The dealer does a classic blank stare
when I mention it and says they'll grease the doors. Lack of grease is not
the problem. I notice new, rattles are now coming from somewhere in
the front of the cabin, not as severe as the doors. The car has done 32,000
    km.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know of a fix?

  2. AHA! I, too, had that problem on my 02 Odyssey. I lived with it a
couple of years, then rode in my brother's 00 Odyssey EX--and, despite
having been in a serious wreck, it was rock solid and very quiet.

I immediately went to my dealer; it seems that the upper seal on the
doors has been reworked and is now a completely different piece. They
replaced mine with the new one, and he also adjusted one of the doors.

Now it's MUCH better, pretty much what I expected.

You have to find a guy who knows the doors, though. Damn few mechanics
do. Find a good dealership with some long time service techs, and
there's bound to be one guy who's their "door guy". Get him.
