    Hello,

I have a problem with my crv that has recently developed. Here are
    the symptoms:

    1. If you turn the wheel all the way to the right or left you can
hear a metallic noise. Almost like something is rubbing together.
Someone suggested that it could be my CV joint.

    2. Sometimes while driving you can hear a metallic chirping noise.
The noise is very similar to the sound a loose speedometer cable
makes. However, my cable is not loose.

    3. (This started recently)When the breaks are pressed you can hear a
metallic noise. Again it sounds like metal is rubbing against
something. Note: this not a grinding noise. The breaks work fine.
Also, it seems that this happens more when it is cold outside (but I
    could be wrong about that).

Lastly, the crv has around 90K on it and the break pads were replaced
    around 50k.

I do plan to take it to a shop but I wanted to have some idea of what
might be wrong before I did that.

Thanks in advance for any help!
