pricing for 2005 CR-V

Hi folks,

Greetings for the holiday season!
I am planning to buy a 2005 CRC EX this weekend and wanted to check the
current out-of-the-door price for this model (or LX/SE) so that I can
bargain better. BTW, I live in the San Francisco bay area.
Any info is deeply appreciated.

As the case is, I was able to buy the 2005 CR-V on 31st Dec for the
invoice price from Hopkins Honda in Sunnyvale, CA. The salesman did try
to bargain but he didn't stress much and later the finance mgr
disclosed that they have been selling vehicles at or below the invoice
price. So, my car's price was $800 less than what KBB or Edmunds state
as the current retail price of this vehicle. I don't have buyer's
remorse yet but believe that I could have saved about $500 or if only I
had a better idea of the car's price.

Car's price: $22100
Options price: $440

Hope this helps someone planning to buy a 2005 CR-V soon. I have to add
that my dealer had some 2004 crvs in stocks but I didn't opt for these
as the changes in the new model are very desirable.
