On a 2004 Accord EX, V6 Coupe, 6 speed, Dealer installed rubber floor
mats and rear view compass auto-dimming mirror....for $24,900 out the
door plus tax? Good deal or not??

  2. If that's without the navi, it's a good deal. If it's with the navi, it's
a very good deal. What state are you in? There must not be very much
    sales tax.

Ooops, subject should say "Coupe", not "Couple". Anyways, that price
is total out the door, MINUS tax. I left out tax because of the
    variation between states.

    Invoice is $23,844 + $490 destination = $24,334. $24,900-$24,334 =
only $566 for paperwork, title transfer, rubber mats and mirror, and
their "profit". They claimed the mirror was $300 and mats $100, but
    then again....
Seems like a good deal to me considering the rarity of this car, but
the fact they took my initial offer was a little strange. Reputable
    dealer and everything.
The salesman told me the timing was good. He said this would sell for
the full $26,900 MSRP during nice months. (I live in a northern
    midwest state)

  7. Well, then that wasn't "out the door", was it?

I see that you have nothing to contribute to this thread other than pointing
out my possible error. Can *you* offer an opinion on the deal he has been
offered, or are you just wasting bandwidth? (Just as I am doing by
    responding to you.)

Anyhow, he should check Edmunds.com's TMV, which they claim reflects the
average price that people are paying for that auto in his area. If Edmunds
is being honest, and his price is below what Edmunds says, then it is a
    good price.

Hi Al, thanks for speaking with me yesterday on the
phone about the Honda's, I have decided with my wife
that the Civic just is not the right car for us
because of size. So, in trying to figure out my level
of pain can you give me the price on the following
    cars, all are Automatic transmission.

    Acord EX 4cy Auto
    Acord EX-L 4 Cy Auto
    Acord Ex V6 Auto

I'm in madison wi, got the ex-L 4cy auto for 22,050. This included wheel
locks and mud flaps. Add tax and about 115 for title and reigstration. No
document fees, which is just mark up anyway.

  10. No
He's bragging about a $45 doc fee, when dealers aren't allowed to charge more,
    by the government!

    that's a great price! i just leased a black V6 coupe with 6 speed. i
had to lease off the sticker price. it was also really tough to find
a black one. the 6 speed isn't that common and isn't usually
    discounted.
