poor gas mileage

    I own a 2005 honda civic, 80000km and the mileage is poor, car runs
    fine except for the lights keep diming off and on when ideling but not
    when driving. Does anyone know what to look for to improve my gas
    mileage?

    Sounds like the Electrical Load Detector has failed. There's a known issue
    with this model and its ELD.

    Is your Check Engine light on?
