Pilot mileage

    I luv my new pilot but i get terrible mileage - 12 mpg in the country
    compared to a promised 17 in the city??? what's up with that??? Is this
    normal???

    Mine too. I get krappy mileage. I thought Hondas were supposed to be
    fuel efficient.

    It may get more miles once it's broke in. I read the same about the RX330
    and many readers on Edmunds.com said it'll get better as the engine breaks
    in. Of course the way you drive has much to do with it also.

    Wow, I love honda cars...I've owned 2 preludes and an accord.

    but crap, 12mpg??? I have an 89YJ with a 4.2L with 290,000 and get 21mpg on
    the highway, 12 is terrible
