I've read the Honda Pilot can tow, with the proper coolers, 4500lbs.

Does it matter what model Pilot I find on the used car lots as far as
Reliability and towing and MPG? What mpg is typical city/highway/combined?
One person I asked said he gets 18 city, 24 highway on a 2004 model. I have
a budget of around $17000 us to spend, so would probably be looking for an
    older vehicle.

I see leasing deals on the 2005, but I don't really want a new car.
I am selling my f150 4x4 and plow & I figure the Pilot can tow my boat
Does anyone make a reasonably priced personal snow plow for the pilot?

  2. The Pilot first appeared for 2003, so I doubt you could find a used Pilot
for under $17K unless it has high mileage. You may want to look at an older
Toyota 4Runner if you want something in that price range.

you are correct - most of the 2003 models are $25k+

  4. Other than the cost issue, you might want to peruse http://hondapilot.org
for more info on towing. The search function in the forum will bring up
a fair number of threads on it...
