    Greetings,

    Someone gave me an old Honda tape deck (Model # 39100-SE0-A300-M1)
    that I'd like to put in my 1991 Civic because its better than the one
    that's in there now. Except for one thing: the mechanism that loads
    and unloads the tape doesn't work reliably. Sometimes you get the
    tape back, sometimes you don't. It was free to me, so I don't mind
    putting a few bucks into it, and I don't mind putting the time in to
    do the work myself. Anyone ever come across this before? Ideas?

    Thanks!

  4. In cases like this I always start by taking the thing apart, and looking at
    it, and then putting it back together.
    Half the time, this solves the problem.

  5. ===========

    If the labels on the tapes are rippling or peeling at all, they won't
    eject properly.

    if its free and you have time on your hands try to fix it. but generally i
    say its not worth fixing because i saw a factory honda tape deck stereo sell
    for $5 on ebay. why dont you just buy a pioneer cd deck like i did for 25
    bucks on ebay.
