Desperate help needed. This morning I started my '92 Civic, went to work, no problems. At lunch, went out and the car would not start. Engine turns over fine, lights all good. The check engine light stays on. I checked and ultimately replaced the ignition coil and the ignition module along with the cap and rotor which was needed anyway (5 years old I think). Still no starting. Anyway, I appear to be getting neither spark nor fuel. After 30 seconds or so of cranking the engine, I pulled a plug and it was absolutely dry. I tested for spark by attaching my timing light to plug 1, battery/ground; and cranking the engine. Nothing. Now, I followed some steps in the service manual, where you jumper the 2-pin test harness under the dash, to see if I could get the engine light codes, and when I turned the key to on, the ABS light, which has been on solid for about 5 years now, flashed a sequence of 1 long and 2 short; 3 times. I am at a loss here. Can anyone help ore give me a direction, other than getting a tow to a dealer and paying the fee. Much thanks. Jim --
I had to change the main power relay on my car aswell... 60-80 bucks Canadian.. It's a little awkard to get to, but it's one bolt; unclip the wires, plug in new one, reattach the bolt.
