    Hi all,
I just bought a 99 Civic VP for my daughter and it came with a Pursuit alarm
option which uses the original Honda remotes. The owner didn't have the
owner's manual for the alarm. I figured out how to enable Valet mode and
can keep the alarm disarmed. However, I'd like to be able to use the system
but I can't figure out how to manually overide the alarm if I entered the
    car with just a key.

I visited Audiovox and downloaded all the manuals for various systems they
have available but none of procedures listed in them fully agree with the
system that seems to be in the car.

This system has a switch (not pushbutton) that sits in a black plastic
housing with the alarm status led.

These procedures from different manuals didn't work.

    1. Enter the car with the key, turn ignition on, turn Valet switch on and
    then off.
    2. Use the key, turn ignition on, alarm should stop for 3secs, watch alarm
    status led flash equal to
the override code ten's digit, turn ignition on-off equal to the code's
    unit digit. (default 1-1).

I tried to also figure out where the alarm controller was hidden but haven't
located it yet. It would probably answer all my problems if I could find
the model number of the unit.

    Thanks for any help,
    GK
