Michelin X-radial DT at Costco - Are they good?

I'm looking into replacing my Michelin X-one's on my '91 Accord LX with the
X-radial DT from Costco. They have a remarkable deal right now - $60 off 4
Michelin tires. Comes out to $236 for 4 tires, everything included
(installation, balancing, tire disposal, even *road hazard*).

I looked at Michelin's website and it seems the X radial's are only sold at
wholesale clubs like Costco, BH or Sam's Club. Their tread warranty is
pretty good - 80,000 miles. Are they comparable to the X-ones? Anyone has
used them or has any comment?

    Thanks,

    Dave

I had a set of the X Radial Plus on my 2000 Civic and they were pretty good.
Compared to Michelin's other lines, they're a step down from the MXV4 Plus
which, in turn are a stop down from the X-one. For a 91 Accord though, the
X Radial Plus should be all you need. Considering the car's age, I doubt
you drive the piss out of it, so there's no need spending the big bucks on
"the best". The X Radial Plus is an excellent tire for a great price and
should work well on your Accord.

I have 30,000 on mine I got a year and a half ago I got from costco.... I
rotate every 6000 on the dot (almost) and they still look almost new... Snow
in SLC hasn't been that bad latly so I can't comment on the snow traction
very good except that I believe the handle alright is the little stuff I
have driven in already.. Wet traction is pretty good. Only complaint is they
sometimes follow (track with) the groves in the freeway... But I don't care
    about that much....

I've had them for 35,000 miles, 4 years. Snow traction is average, wet is
good, dry very good. Wear is very good (still got plenty of tread although
age cracks started). Road noise is low. Overall was a good deal.
