Has anyone had a problem with a manual window not rolling up on a 3 yr. old
Honda Civic? It happened to me this week. I'd probably rolled down/up the
window less than a hundred times. (less than 16,000 miles on the car) Honda
dealer wanted $255 to repair. I call the factory and got them to talk to
dealer and got the window repaired for free! No, I didn't have an extended
    warrenty. Should I have one?

  2. The windows on my 2000 civic make a horrible 'howl' when I roll them up or
down. When I take it for its service, they just clean the track, but they
refuse to fix it. Could be a flawed system from the get-go, not sure if a
service bulletin has been released or not.

I felt my window problem had to be an installation defect and told this to the
factory rep. He and the local service manager agreed to fix for free. Perhaps
you should call the factory. I have a toll free number but since I'm assuming
you are in Canada, it may not be the phone number you could use. If you'd like
    it, email me.
