Large gaps in '03 Accord windshield

I noticed large gaps (~1/2 cm) between the rear windshield and body. Small
pieces of leaves, twigs, whatever are getting lodged in there. This doesn't
seem like good design to me. Shouldn't there be something like rubber seals
to filled in those gaps?

Yep, you're right. The rear windshield is definitely of questionable design.
It looks as if they simply placed the windshield in place and glued it about
the edges to the window frame. Every other Honda I have seen up to 2003
models had weather stripping all around the windshields. To mention, I have
not had any water leakage problems on my 2003 EX-V6, but I still wonder what
the engineers were thinking when they designed it.
