I just rented a Civic and found the standard lane assist to work better than any other car I have driven. What I really liked is it worked with cruise or without cruise once engaged. My question: Is there a way to turn up the volume once the system shuts off (If you don't touch the wheel)? The warning chime (Safety) is not loud and when I have the radio on can't hear it. Also, if you the lane assist lines dim out (Lanes disappear) there is no warning. I don't assume there is a setting for that.

2nd Question: The Ground Clearance seems a bit low. I bottomed out the front on some speed bumps. I would prefer a higher GC but don't want an SUV. Is there any difference of GC from the Civic sport, vs other civics (Hybrid etc.)?

Great car, averaged 39MPG. Wish the cockpit was a bit quieter also (Road noise at highway speed). Love the proper buttons and knobs!
