My wife has a car accident this morning (4/1/04 around 9:00am) when she was
driving south on I-680. She is a very patient driver and driving 60 mph on
the slow link. Unfortunately, a light brown Sedan (looks like Honda) waiting
to exit at Mission blvd towards I-880 junction, was suddenly merge back onto
the highway without checking the up coming traffic. My wife tries to avoid
the accident, thus has to change link right immediate. With this sudden
change of direction, she car is out of control and spin. Finally was hit
into an innocent young man. Fortunately, the young man is ok and my wife
only has a little back pain. But both vehicles are in serious demage.

I would like to have anyone who had witness this accident, please give me a
call or drop me an email. My phone number is (510) 573-0749 for Vincent or
    Kimmy.

Thanks in advance and drive safe.

Sorry to hear it. My sister got into a similar situation last summer. SUV came
at her from an inside street while she was in through traffic. She swerved to
avoid, the car went into a spin and crashed into a tree. She didn't have
collision insurance (only liability). So insurance wouldn't cover the damage
done to the car which was a write-off. She ended up losing her Si Hatch.

Then there was a long time ago when I was driving my dad's Cutlass Supreme. I
was about to pass a slow moving car and at the time was talking to a friend
(this was before cell phones, he was ridding shotgun with me). At that instant
the car that I was about to pass wiped his car right in front of mine, he took
me totally by surprise, I slammed my brake and went into a four wheel lockup,
but my car had too much momentum and I started to skid into his bumper. Just
before impact, I cranked the steering wheel all the way to the left in the hopes
to avoid. The car went into a spin. I took my foot off the excelorator and tried
to counter steer, but couldn't catch the tail. I ended up in the opposite lane,
hopped the curb and was about to go into a tree. At that instant, I floored the
accelerator, the rear end wiped around and avoided the tree. I caught up to the
guy who cut me off, but he pleaded innocence. The only casualty was one of the
steel rims that got mangled after going over the curb. I quickly got that
replaced before my dad realized that I messed up his car.

in April and you post about it 2 months later for witnesses? I doubt
their memories are going to be fresh concerning it.In any event,I wish

  4. Why bother? It was your wife's fault.
