I posted a the following message back in July 2003 - Any new news?

I'm trying to decide if the recently released upgrade from the Honda
Navigation DVD V2.05B to V3.3 is worthwhile. I've searched to find
if there are substantive differences or if they're merely updates to
roads and points of interest. There's no real explanation on Honda's
website, just a "Here's where you buy it, $185 + shipping". Has anyone
upgraded yet, and if so, is it a meaninguful upgrade that you find to
    be worth the price?

    Thank you,

    Ryan

  2. There is information on the differences in the FAQ on the web site where you
buy it. If I remember correctly, they added the ability to route on
unverified roads, and the ability to use kilometers. Also the maps are
    updated.

My Honda came with the latest version, and let me tell you, they must not
have done very much work on the updated maps. Twice, I have been
led to gas stations that no longer exist -- and clearly haven't existed
for quite some time! (This was in Los Angeles)

The ability to route on unverified roads is useful. The warning that keeps
coming up when you enter the unverified area is downright irritating.
