I have a 96 honda accord lx non vtec. I wanted to uprade my ignition system
to msd. I only have a cold air intake, headers, exhaust done. I bought bosch
plat 2 spark plugs, now what else do i need to upgrade ignition system by
msd? I see msd 5 ignition, I know i spark plug wires, distributor cap, but
    what else do i need?

  2. The stock system is more than adequate for the Ricky Racer add-ons you have
installed. I would just keep the money in your bank account.

Well captain krunch I asked what do I need not what do you think. And as far
as fuel economy goes, my "ricky racer" addons give me even better fuel
economy. The bonus is the performance. Ever thought about that?

first things first, take back the bosch spark plugs and use ngk or nd

you might also consider the air filter/clean
    pcv valve
    fuel filter
then and only then consider a msd box, and dont cheap out on the msd5 at
    least get a msd6a or msd6t
a msd 5 is hardly any better than stock.

  6. Mine Bosch plats were fried in about 20k kms in a Honda, but worked great in
    an Audi.

You might need a coil, depending on the unit you get.
