    Good Day!
Have a 2000 with manual trans that is afflicted with the horrific hunting idle. The ICU was replaced, which was a no fix (was throwing ICU code). Futzing with the air mix brass screw seemed to have very little effect - moving it with the ICU unplugged, I can screw it into the stop, and it idles at around 8-900 (I've read it should be 450). As it is backed out, the idle rises, and gets to about 1200. So, I drove it with the ICU still unplugged, and it ran ok, and idled around 1100, without fluctuation. Then a few days later (ICU plugged in) it tossed its timing belt - DANG.
So, I'll probably fix it, but still need some direction on how to get the idle straight.

    Thanks!

Check for air in the cooling system. A vacuum leak can also cause idling problem.
