how do I get rid of the wet sanding haze?

    I purchased a touch up paint kit for my car which included sanding paper 800 and 2000 grit. this left a haze around the area that I touched up. I tried to remove it with rubbing compound, buffer, etc. unable to get rid of this haze. any suggestions on how I can get rid of this haze and restore my paint?
