I've just purchased an imported '97 Honda Prelude and it is badged Type S, a
model not available in UK, is there anyway of confirming this by engine or
chassis number? I take delivery of it Friday but have all the paperwork from
it's arrival in UK. The importers state it's the SiR model, the UK Log Book
refers to it as a 2.0i (it isn't, it has a 2.2 V-Tec engine) and the badge
on the front (grill) and back mark it as a Type S but of course adding Type
S badges to the car isn't that difficult.

Any hints of what to look for when I get the car or maybe a website that
could help me, would be appreciated.

    Thanks
