A real truck is not un-uni-body and if they want to be serious then they
must have an 8 cyl gas or 6cyl diesel.

Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi and even Hyundai makes 8 cylinder truck engines

I seem to recall that I saw a post indicating that Honda made a truck many
years ago and the sales of it were so poor that they gave up on truck
sales. It's my guess that Honda has decided to focus their time and energy
on cars, mini vans and SUVs and not on trucks. Of course, that could
change if thousands of people write or email Honda headquarters.

I remember reading somewhere that Honda is due with a pickup truck in a
year or two.

Honda is re-tooling their plant in Alliston Ontario. The Odyssey va
production will be moved to another plant. Honda will begin building
pickup type truck shortly (couple of weeks). It will be introduced a
a 2005 model. I am suspecting it will be styled like a half pickup
half sport utility. Kind of like a "mini-avalanche" or the Explore
sport-track

mounths away at best. there is a real truck on the way that no one has seen,
its not the one at the detroit show. looks like the real truck will be
