Honda CRV aircondition brakedown

Discussion in 'CR-V' started by Vedran Preseèki, Dec 17, 2006.

  1. I have Honda CRV, I was at service and at home I notice that complete
aircondition compressor block of 6-8mm thick metal was break (blown)
    down in peaces.

I contact service but they claim that this was heappen by unknown and
that factory don't recognise this problem and that I must pay new
    aircondition
    compressor block over 2000 USD.

I contact factory via e-mail but they don't repond.

Honda factory don't respond to customer?!

    Can someone help me???

i'm not an a/c expert, but from what i understand, this failure is
common if the system is over-filled. and it is the fault of whoever did
the work on it - they should pay for repair. reconditioned compressors
don't cost anywhere near that much.
call your national honda customer care center, not the dealer. and
    don't email.

  3. System need filling with aircondition gas, but in sevice they
behave athwart. I come home and check under hood and
on first look see that compressor was broken down like
explode... I right away call service but they say that they
don't touch aircondition copressor and try covince me that
car come to service in this way... Now they asking if I want
to air-condition work that I need buy new complete part which
    is over 2000 USD.

I go to other service which can't say anyting to me. I suppose,
on their words because they know service where I was, that
    they all are connected.

Now I must seek view from some independent service out
    of Croatia where I live.

Problem is that they all are connected, and they all here
are service and dealers. I think that there are no cutomer
    care.

I contact directly in Japan but no answer... I beleve that
Honda is great car, but now I am in positin that I don't know
    whoom to ask help.

there has to be a regional customer care center - eastern europe, not
local croatia. local dealers are not interested in paying for their
mistakes - so you have to go over their head to the honda facility which
supplies them. that way, honda instructs them to sort the mess out or
    they risk losing their franchise.
