From info on 1987 Accords at
    http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/catdisplay.jsp

    LX appears to indicate carbureted.

LXI appears to indicate fuel injected.

www.autozone.com (see pointers to free vehicle repair guides) say 65% of 1987
    Accords are carbureted.

I suggest that you get a carfax report on it.
If the carfax report indicates that it was
in a major accident--don't buy it.
I once had a friend that bought a car that was
in a bad accident and the frame was bend. I seem
to recall that he gave the car to a junk yard
since in those days--it cost a lot of money to
fix the problem. I don't know how much it cost
    today.
