I reacently got a hitch installed by U-Haul on my 1998 Honda Accord.
They bolted the harness to the trunk and a pull handle it has.
I'm not too sure how solid is such instalation. I thoght they
had a harness that could be attached to the frame.

Do you have experience with hitches on Accord?
    How was it installed?
What kind of trailers have you pulled?
    How heavy were they?

Thanks for any help of comments,

  2. I installed a Hidden Hitch #60913 on my 1998 Accord Ex V6 Coupe. You
can see a good picture of the hitch design in the installation
    instructions at http://www.hiddenhitch.com/images/products/instructions/60913.pdf.
It was a perfect fit and a real joy to install. I was concerned that
the hitch would not work with the 2 mufflers on the V6 so I phoned the
factory before I ordered it. They were extremly helpful and checked
their files for me. They found that they had done a test fit on a V6
and that there were no problems, they has just omitted it from the
listing. While my Accord does not really have a frame, it does bolt to
the two structural rails that run on either side of the truck. I have
pulled a 1300 lb tent trailer and had no problems so far. Since this
is 300 lbs over the rated towing capacity, I also had a transmission
    cooler installed.
