Last year my Honda was in a accident, well not really, but the car was
damaged. My future wife took the car on the interstate in Seattle
with the snow chains on. Wow, the chains probably ripped off around
40-50MPH. When the chains ripped off, they tore out the headlight and
cable that the headlight plugs into. Also damaged was the bumper,
fender, and door, and luckily nobody was hurt.

Here's my question: I'd like to replace the fender with parts online,
i.e., Ebay, but do I need to worry about fitting the fender even if it
claims to be for my make and model? Also, the headlight assembly, I'd
like to just pickup the part where the bulb mounts into, strip the
wires, and reconnect, where do I buy just the part with the wires and
    mount for the bulb?

    Thanks for your expertise!

    Regards,

OEM parts will probably fit properly, assuming the parts that it all bolts
up to aren't also damaged. The aftermarket stuff probably won't fit without
    some alterations.

As far as just buying parts of the headlight assy, you can check one of the
online dealers like Majestic Honda & see what's available. More likely the
only source for partial assemblies would be to hit the local junk yards.
That might be the best chance for fender & bumper that actually fits as
    well.
