    Hello:

Regarding the 2004 Honda Accord LX 6 cyl sedan:

Know about the transmission recall, but has there also been a recall on this
model for a fuel pump problem ?

Searched the web, but info. I have been unable to obtain anything definitive
    on this; what I have
read re it has been very unclear.

    Thanks,
    Bob

Never mind...I have the Auto tranny.

Accords from 2003 and 2004 are affected, as are 2000 through 2004 Acura TL
sedans and 2001 through 2003 CLs.

The vehicles in the recall have V-6 engines with five-speed transmissions.

Where do you get your info? It's not a very good source.

Call your local dealer and ask about service bulletin 04-037.

Safety Recall: Accord V6 Automatic Transmission Second Gear Inspection.

Yes, its probably this bulletin as I don't have my copy in front of me. But
it extends the warranty on the transmission in the 2000-2001 Accord V6 (and
some other models) to 7 years/100,000 miles. Honda knows there is a potential
    problem.

The warranty extension is in lieu of a recall for a different, previously
discovered problem. The second gear inspection is an actual recall.
Somebody cheaped out when they beefed up the automatic transmissions for
the V6s and its catching up with them now.
