Extend my Acura 3.2 TL warranty?

I have 2003 Acura 3.2 TL. It has only around 3400 miles on it and is almost
1 year old. I'm thinking of extending my current 4 year warranty to 7
years, since this is the max extended warranty offered by Acura Care.

Since I drive VERY low mileage, I'm leaning toward the 7yr./75K mile
    warranty.

I'm located in NJ. There is an Acura Dealer in NJ that is selling the
7yr/75K Acura Care extended warranty, for the 2003 3.2 TL,over the internet
for $865. I'm assuming is gonna be cheaper than what my local dealer would
charge for the same contract. (Note: I verified that this CA dealer is
really an Acura dealer by going to the Acura website)

Assuming I can't get my local dealer to match or beat this price, then do
you see any problem with my getting the warranty from the CA dealer? In
other words, am I correct in assuming that, as long as I have an Acura Care
extended warranty from American Honda, it doesn't matter what dealer I
    purchased the extended warranty from?

Last question: Overall, do you feel paying $865 to extend my warranty from
4 to 7 years would be worth it for a very low mileage driver such as myself.
(I could wind up only having 30K on the car at the end of the 7 years).

    Thanks.

To clarify, I meant to say that the dealer that is selling the $865 Acura
Care 7yr/70K extended warranty contract, over the internet, is in CA, not
NJ. I'm located in NJ, so, am I correct in thinking that it doesn't matter
which dealer I purchase the extended warranty from, as long as it's an Acura
Care warranty from American Honda? (The sample contract on the website says
that you can bring it to any dealer if it's impractical to bring it to the
dealer you purchased the contract from.)

    Thanks.

I used a internet extended warranty, it was great!

The best thing about it was that when I traded in for a new vehicle they
gave me back the remainder of warranty in cash.

When I bought my new Honda, and would not extend it thru Honda.

As soon as I showed the person the deal I had on the trade in he dropped
the Honda price $500 in a heart beat.

  7. Jeff,
I tend to worry more than the average person. As a result, I purchased an
extended warranty. If the engine light comes on--I don't even worry about
it since I know the warranty will pay the total cost except for the first
    $50.00.
If I did not have the extended warranty--my heart would skip beats and
beat much faster whenever the light came on or I heard a weird sound
coming from the engine or transmission. People like us should get the
extended warranty. Even if we never need to use it--it provides piece of
mind. If we do have to use it--it could mean Honda pays for the repair and
    not me.
