    Hi,

The CD player on my 2006 CRV is jammed. There are 6 CDs stuck in the
unit, and when I hit the "CD" mode, the display reads "Error". No CDs
play, I can't switch between discs, and, most importantly, I cannot
remove the CDs. All other functionality works fine (FM, AM, etc.).

Any ideas how to fix this? Is there a system reset or a manual
eject? Any advice or ideas is appreciated.

    Thanks!

You should have the answers you seek in your owner's manual. There
should be a section on this CD player.

    Hi,
He is too lazy to look up the manual, LOL!

    Perhaps I should have mentioned...

The owners manual says the solution is to take the car to be
serviced. I'd prefer to do the repair myself. Any ideas?

If there are DIY labels on the discs, you're gonna have to remove the
whole unit and dissasemble it. It's not a job for people with gorilla
fingers. There's two or three PDF's that explain R&R of the deck here:

You could try disconnecting the battery for 20 seconds in the hopes it
will reboot, but stuck labels will not reboot. You'll also have to reset
the driver's window per the manual after repowering too.

Thanks Curly, I'll try disconnecting the battery. As a note, there
are no DIY labels on the discs. All are store bought CDs.

If anyone else has any other suggestions, please feel free to reply.
