Emissions system problem

    I have a 2016 Pilot Touring all-wheel-drive I purchased new. VIN number 5FNYF6H98GB0287XX. Emission systems Problem light came on around 120,000 miles periodically I had the fuel injectors, then the catalytic converters replaced. The emission system’s light still comes on periodically for the catalytic converters.
    If the computer checks these parameters and turns the light on,
    How do I know the Computer is not the problem.
    Stated otherwise what checks the checker?
