Does anyone know what the 2010 Accord might be like?

    Hello,

I have a 2008 Accord and still love the car like I did when I leased it. The
2009 from what I understand only added a couple of minor changes such as
offering bluetooth by itself instead of needing to get it with the
navigation package and maybe some minor accesories that were offered. I'm
curious to find out if there will be any other changes for 2010.

I would like to see Honda move to a 6 speed auto transmission and offer HID
lights. I also think that foglights should be standard from the EX 4cyl and
up. Paddle shifters..hell the FIT has it, how come the Accord doesnt??!

Honda, step up to the plate a little more...you're almost there!

**** off Jim Beam, you fucking cock sucking faggot! I can afford anything I
want. I make more in a year than you'll probably make in a lifetime.

You're nothing but a low life scumbag without a pot to pee in, you can't
even afford a 1977 Ford Granada. You don't have a woman, because even you're
own mother thinks your ugly as sin. You live in a drainage hole. You don't
even work, because you're an uneducated retard. You do however live off the
tax payers money...nice work, go back to nigeria where you belong you
    fucking looser.

Someday you're really going to piss someone off that they are going to find
you and beat the shit out of you, or maybe they'll just kill you.

Don't bother responding, I'm blocking you.

Folks, I don't want any of you to think I'm some kind of psychotic wacko.
I'm just tired of all the trolls in this group and I seem to run into them
    everytime I post something.

The bottom line is DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. I guess Jim Beam the Troll but on
my badside before I knew I was being attacked by a troll to begin with!

I've blocked him and all the other trolls in this group, and unfortunately
there are a couple of others. Lets keep things adult like here.

The reason I asked about those features in the Honda Accord is because the
Mazda6 offers them on that car which is in no way in the Accura level. I'd
just like to see those items in the Accord. I could afford the Acura TL if I
wanted to, but would rather use my money in other ways than spending it on a
car. I just don't need some hillbilly making believe they know my financial
    situation.

    Thanks,
    Al

  6. jim's not a troll.

Maybe you're not, either, but you are certainly a wacko. You want to
pay bean prices and get filet mignon. Won't happen, ever--so stop
wandering around in public like some psycho homeless person babbling on
    about it.

  7. Then get a Mazda 6.

    Seriously.

I also noticed that the Mazda CX7 competes DIRECTLY with the Acura RDX.

So it looks like Mazda is trying to compete with the big boys, but
without the whole big boy image of a different nameplate, fancy
    dealerships, etc.

Mazda did begin that process--the division was to be called Amati, and
the 929 was the flagship. They shitcanned it before it got off the
ground, and stayed Mazda ever since.

So? Now you think that Honda is somehow obligated to do the same thing?
To abandon the high-zoot nameplate and everything around it and dump all
those goodies into the low-price brand, just to satisfy YOU?

    You are a wacko.

You may eventually see those on the Accord, but only once they're old-hat
on Acuras. Techno-goodies usually trickle down from the expensive models to
    the cheaper ones.

Honda has to maintain a rationale for the upcharges they want you to pay
when they ask you to park your butt in their upmarket models.

Then Honda would have less to use to upsell you to a more expensive model.

Different demographic, probably. Paddle shifters are a "performance"
feature. Most Accord buyers are looking for comfort, not "performance".

Honda is certainly "there" with their customers. I suspect Honda knows its
market way better than any of us.

I agree, but now that I'm getting older my night vision is not as good and
find I need more light on the road at night. HID would help this a little.

Maybe, but isnt the TL considered a comfort car and they have paddles on
    those cars I think.

I think Honda is doing most things right, in fact they are about 99% there.
I would just like to see some of the more upscale features in the car. I
think if you pay 27-30k for a car, having HID isnt asking for too much.

Assuming the car didn't come with them, you may be able to replace the bulbs
with HIR. About 50% more light. I did it on a 2005 Accord. You may have
to trim the base to fit. Well worth it though.

True, but I lease, so making those kind of mods may not be a good idea. So
I'd like to have them come from the factory.
