Anyone know if Honda fixed such things as the rattle problem as well as
other problems noticed in the 2003 Accord?

We purchased a 2003 Accord EX V6 w/Nav that was built in June. The
2004's were ready to come out. We have had ZERO problems with the
car, and no rattles. You might take it from our experience that, yes,
    they have fixed the problems.

I bought an identical model and have had similar results. Not a single
problem to report and already 9,500mi.

Better yet, does a list exist that outlines all changes/improvements made
between the 2003 and 2004? I would think that Honda Motor Corp. would
provide that info to dealers. Then again, maybe not. I'm sure many
potential buyers who still have a choice between buying a 2003 or 2004 would
want to know what they are getting in a 2004 besides a better resale value.
    Any thoughts?

I also purchased a 2003 Accord EX-V6 that was built in June. I traded my 2000
Accord EX-V6 and have been thrilled with the '03...except for the rattles! I
currently have about 7200 miles on the car and it seems to have rattles above
the windows and in the headliner in the front of the car. When I lower the
windows where the rattles originate, they stop. None of these rattles were
present during the test drive (the car only had 8 miles on it when I bought it)
and they all seemed to appear after the 5000 mile mark. I'm about ready to take
it to the dealer and tell them to fix the rattles...they will only get worse
    when winter arrives.

The only change from 2003 to 2004 is the XM radio option. As for fixing the
problems many here have mentioned, Honda would not wait for '04 to fix them.
As soon as flaws are identified and a countermeasure developed, the fix is
immediately slipstreamed into the production process. That's why it's
important to note the build month of problem vehicles.

Honda made a great number of fixes on the '03 Accord, but mostly thru
improving assembly or machining processes. There have only been a few
miniscule tweaks to the original parts designs because they are basically
good already. This is normal for a completely new model. But I will admit
that this has been a rougher new model launch than most for the company.
