I have a 99 CRV and am having problems with the door locks. My driver side rear door is locked and will not open and the driver door will open electronically but the key will not turn in the cylinder. Can anyone help?

The remote won't unlock the rear doors, so you could try the switch on
the driver's door. When you open the back door, turn the 'child safety'
switch to OFF. If the previous owner cracked up the CRV and the driver's
door isn't original, that would explain why the key won't open it. If
they just NEVER used the key, you'll need some LockEaze aerosol in the
lock to unglue the pins. Try any other keys that came with the vehicle.
    they might be different.

  3. Someone attempts a break-in and jars the tumblers?
If the locks will not unlock, the actuator may have
    interfere with the movement.

Rear doors are much more reliable than front
doors. If they are not use often they can stick to
the body for instance after a rain. And a child
safety device is another problem as mentioned
    by 'Curly'?

I am the original owner of the vehicle. Does anyone know how the inner door panel comes off so I can check the linkage for the locks?
