Curious of a different "mode" or some other setting might change the behavior of ACC.

Restarting cruise control after being disabled or slowing when following and you change lanes to clear the slower traffic. If the cruise speed is a little higher then the current speed, it is like the car "floors" it to get up to speed as fast as possible. This can be jarring when it happens. My older accord (2013) when in efficiency mode would slowly accelerate up to the cruise speed set. With my CRV in efficiency mode, it still floors it. I much prefer the slow acceleration and it is less jarring for passengers. The accord would do that "flooring" also when in "normal" mode, but I almost always use efficiency mode.

Love the car, I have gotten into the habit of not restarting the cruise if more the a couple of MPH below the cruise set value.
