The coolant spec for my wife’s 2015 CR-V is Honda Type 2 prediluted. Oreilly website shows Zerex 1 Gallon Blue Concentrate Antifreeze/Coolant as being a fit. Is the Zerex diluted to 50/50 the equivalent of the OEM?
I change my coolants by draining as much as I can then closing it up and adding distilled water then drive it and drain again. I do this as many times as it takes until I get close to clear water. Then I add concentrate at ½ the diluted capacity then top off with distilled water until full. (I do it this way to ensure I get all of the old collant out.)
