    Hello:

I bought a tach meter at Sears to perform some tests on my 1987 Honda Accord
LX. The red clip goes to the + battery terminal, the black clip goes to
engine ground. For tach tests, there is also a green clip, which the tach
manual says needs to be connected to the negative (-) side of the ignition
    coil.

The problem is that 1987 Honda Accords use a type of ignition coil that has
three connections: one is a 2ry winding terminal that connects to the
distributor. Then it has two 1ry winding terminals: 2 pins per terminal.
On the left terminal you have pins D & C and on the right terminal you have
    pins B & A.

Where should the green wire go for tach measurement tests?

    Thanks!

"D", which I believe is the blue wire.
