    hello,

my car: honda accord dx 94, automatic.
When I'm driving 50 mph, and release the gas pedal, i can hear a
chirping sound coming from the sides. it resembles the sound of a
shoe sole scraping the floor as fast speed.

any idea what i should check for as possible causes? i'm worried
    i may have transmission problems.

Cool! If you'd just had your timing belt, and it sounded like an
accordion, that would be your answer. When's the last time you checked
the torque on all your wheel lug nuts? How's the level and smell of your
tranny fluid? That's all I can think of. :-(

Is it a single 'chirp' or many? Does your parking brake cause it to stop
if you pull it up a bit?

  3. Brake pads worn? The scrapers warn drivers of worn pads and
resemble the sound of a shoe sole scraping the floor at fast speeds.
