Buzzing noise when accelerating?

    Hello people

My 97 Integra GSR occasionally makes a high pitched buzzing/squeaking
sound when accelerating from a stop sign. It only happens when in 1st
gear, faster than a few mph, when I accelerate more than usual, or
accidentally let the clutch slip to higher rpm's. It lasts about a
second. Initially, I thought it was the same sound as when the ABS
system recharges, but I think it is higher pitched.

  2. It might be an exhaust leak, crack, or shield rattle. The correlation
to first gear and hard acceleration is that it flexes the exhaust pipe.
Take a look at it and see if you can reproduce the noise by hitting the
    pipe with your hand.
