Hello, all ! My Daughters 2000 CR V tossed it's belt at 240K. I replaced it at 147, and kinda forgot about it. Rookie mistake. My question for discussion is, should I get a junk head ( at local 'you pull') or go ahead and rebuild the existing one? ( I know a good machinist, who I reasonable, but still probably looking at 0 +total) I haven't yanked it off the motor yet, so the extent of the damage is unknown. It has a new clutch, and was a good runner (aside from a hunting idle, which I'll open a new thread for). If anyone has had a belt let go, and has seen the damage, I'd appreciate the benefit of your experience. Thanks!
